In 1956, Kenworth introduced the 900-series conventional-cab truck, replacing the 500-series introduced in 1939. The W900 is manufactured at Kenworth's main manufacturing facilities in Renton, Washington and Chillicothe, Ohio. Introduced in 2018, the Kenworth W990 was developed to complement the W900 line. The model line also became a popular basis for truck customization, with owners adding additional chrome trim, wheels, lighting, and paint. In line with the Peterbilt 379 (from PACCAR sister division Peterbilt), the W900 gained a following among owner-operator drivers. As the Kenworth model line was expanded, the W900 became its flagship conventional, with its cab structure used across other model families the model line competed against a wide variety of model lines through its production. Īt its introduction, the W900 conventional was introduced alongside the K100 COE. The "W" in its model designation denotes Worthington, one of the two founders of Kenworth. The replacement of the 900-series conventional, the W900 is produced as a Class 8 conventional-cab truck primarily for highway use. The Kenworth W900 is a model line of conventional-cab trucks that are produced by the Kenworth division of PACCAR.

System shock 2 alternate ending9/8/2023 The developer showed off a first look trailer earlier this week, which really seems to be upholding the look of the original game, just with modern crispness and frame rates.Īccording to the trailer's description, "System Shock 2: Enhanced Edition was created with the goal of reverse engineering the original code to port SS2 to the KEX Engine and made available on next-generation consoles for the first time… All cinematics, textures, characters and weapon models have been updated, and the Co-Op Multiplayer has been overhauled to create a seamless experience."Īs well as that, there's some good news for those that like to play the original game with mods, as Nightdive Studios says it has "also partnered with the community to integrate all the best mods and updates." Genuinely nice to see a project that seeks to allow that aspect of video game history to persist. Now Nightdive Studios has given us another System Shock title to look forward to, this time the Enhanced Edition of System Shock 2. It seems like we're constantly waiting for some kind of System Shock to release, in particular the System Shock remake - which should be out May 30, just over a week away (though only on PC). Nightdive Studios has offered us our first look at System Shock 2: Enhance Edition, a new version of the game being brought to "next-generation consoles for the first time."
